Live Casino Basics: How Live Blackjack, Roulette and Baccarat Work

Behind the stream

Live casino games are run by real dealers in purpose-built studios. Cameras stream the table to your screen. Results, such as a card dealt, a ball landing or dice settling, are captured and settled automatically on your account.

Betting timers

Each round opens with a betting window shown as a countdown. Place your chips before it closes. Once the timer ends, the dealer plays the round. If you miss the window, you simply join the next round.

Live blackjack

You play against the dealer’s hand, aiming to beat it without going over 21. Some tables seat a fixed number of players; others let unlimited players follow the same hand.

Live roulette

Bet on numbers, colours or groups before the wheel spins. Multiplier tables such as Lightning Roulette add boosted payouts on randomly selected numbers each round.

Live baccarat

Bet on Player, Banker or Tie. The dealer follows fixed drawing rules, so you make no decisions after you bet. That makes it a fast, simple table.

Table etiquette

• Keep chat friendly and respectful to dealers and other players.
• Check table limits before you sit down.
• Use a stable connection. Wi-Fi is best for HD streams.
